NPMA NATIONAL CONVENTION: We are very excited that the National Pest Management Association (NPMA) is holding its national convention in New Orleans Convention Center in October. Since our own member, Laura Simpson of Dugas Pest Control in Baton Rouge, is the President-Elect for this organization, we would like to have a big turn-out from Louisiana. NPMA has gone out of their way to help make this as easy as possible. Thursday, October 20 has been designated “Louisiana Day”. For a special one day rate, members from Louisiana may attend the convention.

Effective September 1, 2009, all termite contracts and WDIR's will now have a State fee of $8.00. Please make sure you account for these new fees when completing your end of month packets for September which you turn in to the LDAF in October.

I have installed and enabled an event signup feature. When we add an event to the calendar, we can now enable signups for that event. We can set it so that Users will receive a confirmation email and a reminder email. We can also see a list of who has signed up for that event. Users have the option to cancel their signups too.
